Digital technology can be good or bad. It depends on how I use it.
Keeping safe online starts with personal responsibility and purpose.
Because of this, I educate younger children in my neighbourhood, aged eight to twelve.
They already use the internet, so early awareness matters.
Through simple conversations, we learn keeping safe online together.
Meanwhile, Safer Internet Day reminds us to play our part.
Together, we can build a better and safer internet for everyone.

MyDigital CRC, 2014 | Child Rights in a Digital Age Workshop
The Rights of the Child in the Digital Age project brought together 148 children aged 6 to 18 worldwide, including Malaysia.
They shared how they use digital media, the challenges they face, and how they stay safe online.
Their voices will inform the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child as it updates the Convention on the Rights of the Child for the digital age.
The project is led by the Digitally Connected Network with UNICEF and global research partners.
