Climate Action
We share the planet with as many as 13 million different living species including plants, animals and bacteria! The well-being of humanity, the environment, and the functioning of our economy, ultimately depend upon the responsible management of our planet’s natural resources.
The Problem
Pollution, indiscriminate construction, poor waste management; deforestation, unsustainable agro practices have damaged our environment to cause climate change, and many of the natural disasters we see today like heatwaves, droughts, floods, soil erosion and landslides.
Greenhouse gas concentrations are at their highest levels in 2 million years and continue to rise. As a result, the earth is about 1.1°C warmer than it was in the 1800s.
